Measuring and Ordering Inside Mounts for Window Shades:

To measure the width, measure the exact distance from the inside of the window frame at the top, middle, and bottom (from left to right). Select the smallest number as the window width. For the height, measure the exact distance from the inside of the window frame at the left, middle, and right (from top to bottom). Select the largest number as the window height. Order the width as the exact window inside width and the height as the exact window inside height. Round the numbers and deduct 0.2 inches from the ordered width to fit your window. Please note that a minimum window depth of 2 inches is required for this type of mounting.

For outside mounting, here are the instructions to follow: 1. If you want the shade to completely cover the window frame, order the width as the final shade width, which is the window's outer frame width plus an extra 3 to 6 inches, and the height as the final shade height, which is the window's outer frame height plus an extra 5 to 10 inches. 2. If you want to mount the shade on the surface of the frame, order the width as the final shade width, which is the window's outer frame width, and the height as the final shade height, which is the window's outer frame height. It is important to note that the size you ordered is the finished shade size, not the window size, and no deductions will be taken.
